The New Look of Eye on Southport!

After a year of providing news to Southport, we decided it was time for a change. Thus, we set out on redesigning and rebuilding Eye on Southport to improve the experience and editorial content.

As part of this website upgrade, we have switched to an in-house developed system to publish news. This should give you better readability and formatting of articles. Plus, it will allow us to do some special things that you will see soon.

Unfortunately, as part of this update, we had to shut down our forum. However, we do have a new way for you to interact with us.

As you can see we are introducing two new sections to the site. Lifestyle - which will showcase local businesses and handy articles, not just on News-related topics, and Events - where you will find information on upcoming events in Southport.

We have a few things still being worked on as part of this update, but we hope that you agree with us that this is a big step forward for Eye on Southport.
