Three Charged, Two Arrested in Southport Violent Disorder Investigations

Detectives have charged three people, and arrested a further two, as part of investigations into Violent Disorder in Merseyside last summer.
Ryan Williams, 30, of Blackbrook Close, Southport, was charged with Violent Disorder in Southport and will next appear at court on Monday 17 March.
Daniel Birchmore, 32, of Manley Street, Ince, was charged with Violent Disorder in Southport and will next appear at court on Tuesday 18 March.
Thomas Birchmore, 31, of Manley Street, Ince, was charged with Violent Disorder in Southport and will next appear at court on Tuesday 18 March.
A 45-year-old man from Southport was arrested on suspicion of Violent Disorder in Southport. He has been conditionally bailed until May.
A 52-year-old man from Radcliffe, Greater Manchester was arrested on suspicion of Violent Disorder in Southport. He has been conditionally bailed until May.
The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 181, with 140 charged and 113 sentenced to a combined 217 years and six months in prison.
