Train Timetable Changes Coming to Southport This Festive Season

Whether it is for last minute shopping, a night out or a day at the races, trains will be running every day over the festive period, except for Christmas Day.

During the festive period there will be changes to our timetables, with some services finishing earlier than usual on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Also our special Boxing Day service returns.

You can find out everything you need to know about our Christmas timetables below:

Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24 December) 

Services will finish early, approximately 20:30, a full list af last train times is available below.

Christmas Day (Wednesday 25 December)

No services will run.

Boxing Day (Thursday 26 December)

A special Boxing Day service will run from approximately 09:00 to 18:00 calling at selected stations on each line. Additional services will also run between Liverpool and Aintree station for anyone planning on going to the Boxing Day racing at Aintree racecourse.

New Year's Eve (Tuesday 31 December)

Services will finish early, approximately 20:00, a full list af last train times is available below.

New Year's Day (Wednesday 1 January)

A 30-minute Sunday service will run on all lines across the network.
