Major disruption on Southport Merseyrail line due to hot weather and crew shortages
Due to expected high temperatures on Monday 18 & Tuesday 19 July, it is likely that Merseyrail services will be disrupted.
We advise customers to only travel if necessary & to check before you travel.
To help run a reliable service on Monday 18 July, some necessary changes are required. All services on the Hunts Cross line will start & terminate at Liverpool South Parkway & rail replacement buses will run between Liverpool South Parkway & Hunts Cross.
On the Chester & Ellesmere Port line, only selected services will stop at Green Lane & Bromborough Rake.
