Travel information for the Liverpool City Region on Monday

Train

The funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19 September at 11am at Westminster Abbey, London.

If you're using public transport in the city region, please note that it is a national Bank Holiday and there may be changes to services. It’s a good idea to check directly with operators for the latest information and timetables.

For help planning your journey, you can also download the Merseytravel app or use the online journey planner.

During this period of national mourning, there will be a Moment of Reflection marked by a one-minute silence on Sunday 18 September at 8pm.

A two-minute silence will be held at around 11.55am on Monday 19 September.

Many transport operators will look to observe these in their own way.
