Travellers have left Fairways P&R. Piles of garden waste and rubbish abandoned

gone

The large group of Travellers that broke into the Fairways P&R in Southport last week have now left. They gained entry by cutting through the wooden fence.

A clean up by the Council costing thousands of pounds will now have to take place. Huge piles of garden waste are spread across the area along with bags of rubbish and broken children's toys.

If you have had tree work done in the last week in the Southport area by people you did not know did you ask them where the rubbish was going?

A man from the Municipal Golf course was searching for missing flags that had been stolen from the greens over the last week. He found one.
