Trespasser brings Merseyrail Northern line to a standstill

A spokesperson for Merseyrail said this morning...

Delays to services at Sandhills Due to a trespasser on the railway at Sandhills the Northern line is disrupted.

Impact:Train services running through this station may be delayed by up to 20 minutes. Disruption is expected until 12:15 15/08.Customer Advice:British Transport Police are now on site at Sandhills and are trying to locate the tresspasser.Additional Information:If you have been affected by today's incident you may be entitled to a refund or compensation.
