Two call outs for Southport Lifeboat recently

Southport Lifeboat paged by Holyhead Coastguard to assist a child being blown out to sea on an inflatable.
As our crew were preparing to launch, they were stood down as the casualty had been helped ashore by the lifeguards.

The crews’ pagers sounded early this morning to reports of a person in the water at Ainsdale.
As the boat was nearing launch, the crew were stood down because the incident was brought to a safe conclusion by the assets already on scene.
