Two callouts for Southport Lifeboat today

CALL OUT - 25/07/2023 - 10:47 - The first tasking of the day called on our quads to undertake a search of the beach and marshes around Banks for a missing male. This search was aided by the UAS (drone), which focussed its search on the marshland. Not long after the searches were commenced, the male was located inland.

CALL OUT - 25/07/2023 - 18:39 - This evening, our lifeboat was tasked to people in difficulty in the water at Ainsdale. As our crew were mustering at the station, they were stood down after the persons in question had safely reached the beach and were no longer in immediate danger.
