Unidentified Male Body Found at Pier Head Liverpool: Post-Mortem Planned

Police can confirm emergency services are currently at the Pier Head in Liverpool.

At around 12.15pm today (Monday 15 June), we received a report that the body of a man had been found in the water. He is yet to be formally identified and enquiries are ongoing.

A post mortem examination will take place to establish the cause of death.
