Unlicensed scrap collectors escorted out of Banks near Southport by police

Today whilst out on patrol in Banks with PC Helen from our Rural Task Force, we came across this scrap collector. Turns out these chaps were “collecting” with a licence which 

1) had expired  

2) was in someone else’s name and 

3) from a completely different Council area.

To top it off the vehicle had no valid MoT

They have been reported for the offences and were escorted out of the area. Thank you to everyone who reported.
