Update on yesterdays accident Lord Street, Southport

A Merseyside Police spokesperson: "We can confirm that emergency services were in Southport following an RTC yesterday, Thursday 2 September.

"At around 6pm, reports were received of a collision between a BMW and two male pedestrians on Lord Street. The driver stopped at the scene.

Both men were taken to hospital for assessment of their injuries and the road was reopened at 9pm.
