Vehicle gets stuck under Southport Pier at the Ocean Plaza

A workman driving onto the Ocean Plaza this afternoon (30th January) ignored the height restriction barrier and got his ladders jammed over the pole.

Luckily he stopped before too much damage was done to his van and the Pier.

The driver of the van with help from his friend managed to remove the ladders and free the vehicle a short time later.
