The team at Woodlands would like to wish you a very happy and healthy New Year.  The team are raring to go, to see what this year can bring and the changes and improvements they can make to animals' lives in this area. After taking in 230 animals last year and rehoming nearly 205, the team are looking to help even more animals this year, as well as giving opportunities to young and old alike, to experience the positive impact animals can have on their lives.

Woodlands has a wide variety of events planned of the year, the first of which is a volunteer day on Saturday 13th January.  If you are looking for new challenge this year, want to spend more time outdoors or with animals, or simply want to spend your time making a positive difference in your area, then why not come along to their site in Holmeswood, between Southport and Ormskirk to see how you could be involved.

With a tour of the site, an opportunity to hear from some of their existing volunteers, have any questions you may have answered, this is your chance to find out more about your local animal charity and how you can join the Woodlands family and make a difference to animals in need.

Opening their doors at 1pm, there’s no need to book, just turn up on the day and learn how you could clean, cuddle or get involved with events, wherever your passion lies, you could join their happy band of Woodlands Warriors.
