Warning to be careful if visiting Formby Beach

rubble

Due to recent high tides last weekend and over the next few days, natural coastal change is exposing more of the old construction rubble at the Victoria Road walk over.

The high tides have also chipped away at the sand dunes creating a step on to and off the beach in this area.
The tides won’t be as high next week so the team will assess the area and share updates here.

In the meantime we recommend heading to Lifeboat Road car park and using the boardwalk there to get on to the beach.
