Welcome to Southport! Wardens ticket Coach driver at The Prince of Wales Hotel

The driver of a holiday tour company coach has been given a parking ticket outside the Prince of Wales Hotel.

If every coach driver who pulls up at the side of the Prince is given a parking ticket each time they drop off guests the tour companies will start to go elsewhere driving another nail in Southport's coffin.

Presumably, the driver was either picking up or dropping off guests who had come to Southport for a few day's break. After the bleak summer Southport has had Sefton Council should be encouraging tour companies to visit the resort. Slapping parking tickets on coaches is not the way forward.
