West Lancashire has been targeted by Heritage crime offenders. Three churches in the area have had their pathways ruined by heartless thieves ripping up york stone flags and gravestones which will cost  thousands of pounds to replace, If anyone has any information or has been offered york stone flags please get in touch.

Police have investigated the welfare  of caged corvid birds spotted by an eagle eyed passer by. We have spoken to local farmers about yet more livestock worrying incidents and  been supported by our rural  neighbourhood officer who has siezed yet another vehicle from Hare Coursers who travelled a considerable distance to commit wildlife offences here. We have also checked numerous trailers and diggers to make sure they were in the right hands... this set isn't over yet!!
