Avengers: Endgame Encore tickets go on sale at Vue Southport

Tickets for Avengers: Endgame Encore go on sale at Vue Southport from midnight on Tuesday 1 September, ahead of the film’s return to cinemas on Friday 25 September.

The special re-release brings Marvel Studios’ 2019 blockbuster back to the big screen before Avengers: Doomsday arrives on 18 December 2026.

Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson as part of its large Marvel ensemble. The film became the highest-grossing film in the world after its original release, before Avatar reclaimed the record through later re-releases.

Vue says selected Southport screenings will be shown in Infinity Vision, Disney’s new certification for premium large-format cinema screens. The format is designed to offer large screens, bright laser projection and immersive sound.

Limited-edition Marvel popcorn containers will also be available, including designs based on an Arc Reactor, Iron Man’s helmet and the Nano-Gauntlet. Availability and pricing may vary.

Vue Southport is located at Ocean Plaza on Marine Drive. The cinema has eight screens and seating for just over 1,000 people, with Lux and Ultra Lux reclining seats available. Ultra Lux seats include wider seating, extra legroom and a personal table.

Emily Heath, general manager at Vue Southport, made the comments as the cinema announced the screenings.

“We can’t wait to see this special re-release of Avengers: Endgame on the big screen, the way it was meant to be seen. What better way to prepare for one of the most anticipated films of the year, Avengers: Doomsday, later this year. We’re particularly excited to be sharing Infinity Vision certified showings of the film – a testament to the investment Vue continues to make into screen and sound technology.”

Tickets will be available through the Vue website from 1 September.
