British Musical Fireworks Championship returns to Southport on 26 and 27 September
The British Musical Fireworks Championship returns to Victoria Park in Southport on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September, with six teams competing across two evenings.
The displays run from 5.30pm to 9.30pm each night. Each team will present a fireworks display choreographed to music, with three competitors taking part on each evening.

Saturday’s line-up is:

- Monumental Fireworks
- Sonic Fireworks
Sunday’s competitors are:
- Celestial Displays
- Flashpoint Fireworks
- Fire Monkey Pyro
The six teams will compete for the 2026 British Musical Fireworks Championship title.
Tickets must be booked in advance. There will be no ticket sales at the gate, so visitors should arrange entry before travelling to the event. Children under five can attend free, although a ticket is still required.
Victoria Park is within walking distance of Southport railway station. A special Merseyrail return fare is available for selected 2026 events, including the fireworks championship. The offer is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
With nine days to go until the first display, the event will bring two nights of music-synchronised fireworks to Southport at the end of September.
