Welcome to the MySefton News Podcast
The MySefton News Podcast begins today (Wednesday 19th August) and is available on all your favourite listening platforms, as well as your smart speaker.
You can find the pod by asking your smart speaker or virtual assistant to "play the My Sefton News Podcast".
The MySefton News Podcast is a new way to hear about what is going on across the Borough and celebrate the brilliant people that make Sefton a great place to live in, work in and visit.
In the first episode, hosts Ollie and Martin look back on the outstanding Salt and Tar Music Weekender, hosted by Lock & Quay last weekend.
There's an update on the Local Plan, news about the Marine Lake Events Centre and a reflection on a fantastic Summer Reading Challenge in Sefton's libraries.
We also look ahead to two major events, the Southport Flower Show and the Southport Air Show.

Speaking of the Southport Air Show, the podcast begins with a special competition. One lucky entrant will win a family pass to the ever-popular air display, with the world-famous Red Arrows featuring again thiyear.
