NWAA Announces Exclusive 2027 Charity Golf Day at Royal Birkdale

North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) has announced that its 2027 Charity Golf Day will take place at the prestigious Royal Birkdale Golf Club, offering businesses and groups a rare and exclusive opportunity to play one of the world’s most iconic championship courses.

Having hosted the 154th Open Championship in 2026, Royal Birkdale will provide the setting for this special event, giving NWAA supporters the opportunity to experience the same iconic links course onThursday, 16th September 2027. 

Known globally for its rich heritage and championship pedigree, Royal Birkdale is widely regarded as one of the finest courses in the UK, making this a standout addition to NWAA’s corporate events calendar. With a limited number of team places expected, early interest is strongly encouraged.  

Teams can enter a four-ball for £1,995, with a range of premium sponsorship opportunities available, including hole, dinner and halfway house packages.  

The day will feature an 18-hole competition, followed by hospitality, with a raffle and auction continuing the format of previous successful events.

Following The Open Championship in 2026, this is a fantastic opportunity to welcome businesses onto a world-class course while supporting such an important cause.”  

Ahead of this, businesses can still sign up for NWAA’s 2026 Golf Day at West Lancashire Golf Club on24th September 2026, offering another opportunity to connect while supporting the charity’s vital work.

In addition, you could register your team to sponsor a hole. Your sponsorship will allow you to advertise your company to over 80 golfers on the day. There are 16 holes available for sponsorship on the course which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Hole sponsorship includes all of the above plus:

  • Display your company’s promotional banners on the hole of your choice

  • Reserved space on the tee will allow you to have a branded gazebo and staff members to engage with participants. You can also run a game or hand out treats

  • Recognition as an official sponsor in the official programme

  • Recognition as a hole sponsor across our established social media platforms
