Southport Air Show announces Red Arrows and Typhoon displays
The Red Arrows will appear on both days of the 2026 Southport Air Show, which is now less than four weeks away.
The show takes place on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, with military, historic and civilian displays planned above the seafront.

- Red Arrows – Saturday and Sunday
- RAF Typhoon – Sunday only
- Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, featuring a Spitfire, Hurricane and Dakota – Saturday and Sunday
- RAF Tutor – Saturday and Sunday
- Richard Goodwin Jet Pitts – Saturday and Sunday
- Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers – Saturday and Sunday
- The Starlings – Saturday and Sunday
- Strikemaster Display Team – Saturday and Sunday
- Gazelle Squadron – Saturday and Sunday
Organisers say more aircraft and display details will be announced. The Red Arrows will return alongside the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s Spitfire, Hurricane and Dakota.
On the ground, the Armed Forces’ Military Village will include replica aircraft, interactive military exhibits, flight simulators, stalls, children’s activities, bungee trampolines, bumper cars and traditional fairground games.
Gates open at 10am, with flying displays expected to run from about midday until 5pm. Tickets cost £13 plus a booking fee, while under-16s can attend free. Tickets can also be bought on the day, subject to availability.
Southport station is about a 10-minute walk from the show. Merseyrail is offering £2 adult return tickets from any Merseyrail station on the event dates.
