Witness appeal after Cyclist came off his bike on Tarleton bypass near Southport

Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashboard mounted camera footage after a cyclist came off his bike and suffered injuries.

We were called at around 12:10 yesterday (Monday 13th February 2023) to a report of an incident on Southport New Road, near to the junction of Sugar Stubbs Lane.

The man is currently at Southport Hospital in a stable condition.

We are appealing for information following this incident. Anyone with information can call 101 quoting log 533 of 13th February.
