Woman arrested on Lord Street

Officers from Merseyside Police were called to Lord Street this morning to deal with an incident involving a woman on the corner of Coronation Walk. Drinkers outside Wetherspoons seemed to think that she was caught shoplifting but this has not been confirmed.

The woman was arrested by officers and taken away in a Police van.
