Woman sexually assaulted on a train from Southport to Liverpool

Detectives investigating a sexual assault onboard a Liverpool train are today releasing this image in connection.
 
Shortly before 5.30pm on Tuesday, 9 May, the victim offered to help assist a man in a wheelchair and a female accompanying him as they disembarked a service travelling from Waterloo to Liverpool Central Railway Station.
 

The female suggested that if the victim could escort the man from the train then she would take the wheelchair.

As the victim attempted to guide the man from the train he sexually assaulted her.
Detectives would like to speak to the man in the image who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
