Woman taken to hospital after being hit by car in Station Road in Ainsdale,Southport
A woman believed to be in her 40's was hit by a car in Station Road Ainsdale shortly after 5pm on 13th January.
An NWAS spokesperson commenting on the accident ...We were called at 17:07 to Station Road to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
We attended with a response vehicle and an ambulance. One patient, a female in her 40s, was treated on scene and taken to hospital. Her injuries were not believed to be serious."
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said... "We were contacted at 5.10pm on Thursday 13 th January following reports of an RTC involving a car and a pedestrian on a Station Road/Fairfield Road in Ainsdale.
"A woman in her 40s suffered cuts and bruising.
The driver stopped at the scene.
