Woodlands Animal Sanctuary near Southport – Cali & Smudge Update

You may remember a couple of weeks ago Woodlands telling you about two of the cats who have been in their care the longest; Cali and Smudge.  Well, the animal rescue are pleased to say that yesterday (7th February) they waved Cali off to his new home where he will have the quiet life he pines for, with infinite access to both a fire and radiators – both of which he loves sitting next to and snoozing or watching the world go by!

  It sounds quite tempting, doesn’t it?Smudge however, is still living at the shelter, waiting for his chance of a happy ever after.  Smudge has been with the team at Woodlands since 28th November last year and as he brings so much joy to staff and volunteers alike, they are really baffled as to why this super chappy is being consistently over-looked.

He is a stunning black and white, with a sparkling character to match!  He is only two years old and his playful character is exactly what you would expect from a happy healthy cat of this age.  He is of course, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, up to date flea and worming treatments, and he will also come with four weeks free insurance with Petplan.

If you are looking for a companion who will give you as much attention as you want to give them, but you are able to hold boundaries and have patience with exuberant behaviour, Smudge will be the ideal addition to your family.

Woodlands are looking for a home with no young children for Smudge and one that is not a on busy road, because Smudge will love exploring outdoors in a safe environment.
