Woodlands Animal Sanctuary near Southport. Chocolate or dancing, or both?

From chocolate, games and animals, to dancing, three course dinners and roses, whatever takes your fancy Woodlands Animal Sanctuary has you covered this month.

On 16th they have their Easter Egg Hunt and open day, at their site in Holmeswood, whilst on 23rd they have their annual Spring Ball, once more being held at the lovely Briars Hall in Lathom. Tickets for both events can be purchased from their website:  https://www.woodlandsanimalsanctuary.org.uk/eventss/

The Easter Egg Hunt will see your little ones able to follow the clues around the charity’s site, to find all the hidden eggs & once they’ve filled their treasure box, they’ll receive their chocolate egg.  Not to be left out, there will be plenty both sweet and savory for everyone to enjoy on the day, whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or a meat eater – you won’t go hungry!  And of course, the animals are all looking forwards to seeing everyone too.  Don’t forget, you can bring the whole family, including the dog, and take part in the fun dog show they have running from 2pm.

If a sit-down meal, indoors, with live music is more your thing, then make sure you get your tickets booked for the charity ball on 23rd April.  With all the proceeds going towards helping the animals who are currently seeking sanctuary at Woodlands you can be sure every penny you spend will be going to a very worthy cause.  Whether it’s just you and a friend, or you fill your own table (max. 10 people) you will have a great time.
