Woodlands Animal Sanctuary raises over £3000 at Easter event to support animals like Melissa and Hazel

This lovely pair were brought into Woodlands Animal Sanctuary after their owner sadly passed away.  Both black and white, Melissa is long haired whilst Hazel is short.  Both girls are 12 years old and although Hazel is a little quieter than Melissa, they both love a fuss and a tickle. The team think this pair would be best suited to a home with no children or other pets and preferably somewhere from main or busy roads so they can go out during the day.

As always both girls are neutered, have had a full vet check, are microchipped and fully vaccinated.  They are up to date with their worming and flea treatment as well as 4 weeks free pet insurance with Pet Plan.

The animal charity’s Easter open day was a success, raising £3200 all of which will go towards the care of animals like Melissa & Hazel.  The team would like to thank everyone who came and supported them on the day and of course, their fabulous volunteers, some of whom started their day at 7am helping with the set up and stayed at the end to help with the pack down.

Keep an eye on the charity’s social media pages or their website to see what events they have coming up.  Tea and Tours will be making a come back, along with a few new events that they would love to see you at. And if you enjoyed their Easter Open day, they have their Family Fun Day on 19th August, which promises to be even bigger and better than the Easter event.
