Woodlands Animal Sanctuary Reschedules Easter Open Day Due to High Wind Forecast

Visitors are asked to hold onto their excitement — Woodlands Animal Sanctuary’s popular Easter Open Day has been rescheduled to ensure the safety of all who attend, with a new date now confirmed for May.

Woodlands Animal Sanctuary has taken the difficult but necessary decision to postpone its Easter Open Day, originally scheduled for Friday 3rd April, due to a forecast of high winds that would pose a risk to the safety of both visitors and animals alike.

The welfare of the animals in its care and the safety of its visitors are always the sanctuary’s first priority, and the decision — though disappointing — was made without hesitation once adverse weather conditions became apparent.

New Date Confirmed

The Open Day has been rescheduled to Saturday 16th May. Full details and ticketing information will be announced shortly via the sanctuary’s website and social media channels. Spaces are expected to be popular, so supporters are encouraged to keep an eye out for further details.
