Woodlands Animal Sanctuary to hold their first open day of the year on 8th April

Woodlands – Easter Eggstravaganza

Are you trying to pretend the Easter holidays aren’t fast approaching?  Well fear not, Woodlands Animal Sanctuary have at least one day boxed off for you!  Saturday 8th April is their first open day of 2023 and has a suitable amount of chocolate, animals and entertainment to keep your little ones occupied all day.  Disclaimer:  Woodlands take no responsibility for any hyperactive behaviours or sugar rushes that may occur during this time! 

If you are child free Woodlands would still like to welcome you to their site, to see the adorable cats they currently have, all looking for their second chance of a happy ever after.  And not forgetting the donkeys, ponies, goats, hens and ducks who are all looking forwards to welcoming you on site.  They have their adorable antics ready, to try to coax you to part with some of your hard-earned cash, to help support the life changing work that their carers do.

If you are a regular to Woodlands’ events, fear not, their infamous dog show will be going ahead as usual, with all the fun classes you are used to and of course all the fabulous prizes too!

With the current cost of living crisis, Woodlands are very aware of just how precious money is at the moment.  With this in mind, they do very much need your support to continue the life changing and lifesaving work that they do, but they are working very hard to make sure that they give you as much as possible at this open day, so hopefully you will feel able to give them as much are you are able to, to support their work. 

Starting at 11 am and running until 3pm the hardworking team have already sent messages to the weather gods; the animals have their hair appointments booked and the spring clean is well under way.  All they need is for you to turn up, enjoy the activities available and give as much as you are able to.  Tickets are available to buy now at https://buytickets.at/woodlandsanimalsanctuary/826918
