Workmen get pickup truck stuck on Southport beach

Two workmen working for Sefton Council managed to get their pickup truck stuck on the beach close to Southport Pier today.

The truck sank into the deep mud and became stuck.

They were eventually dug out by Sefton Rangers using shovels and a couple of planks of wood.

Good job the tide was out.
