Armed Police enjoy a day out at Southport Air Show

Great turnout at Southport Air Show today and of course, the highlight was an amazing display by RAF Red Arrows 

Lots to see on the ground as well as the skies above and we had the pleasure of meeting Red 10 – Squadron Leader Graeme Muscat, and Connor – a young aviation and police enthusiast... he'll fit the bike in a few years!

If you're heading to the second day of the airshow tomorrow, you'll see a highly visible police presence. It's nothing to worry about, our officers are there to look out for your safety while you're looking out for the next fly-past.

Enjoy the show but remain vigilant.
