Southport FC can confirm that all fixtures scheduled for week commencing Sept 12th will go ahead.

Clubs will be observing a minutes silence ahead of all games up until the date of the late Queen’s funeral and, as a mark of respect black armbands will also be worn.

That means the game at Chester on Tuesday will be going ahead and as it stands the FA Cup tie at Darlington should also take place.

There will be no sporting fixtures taking place on the day of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral which is taking place on Monday September 19th.
