Man charged with offence relating to voyeurism following incident in Southport

Police can confirm that a man has been charged with an offence relating to voyeurism following an incident in Southport.

On Sunday 10 September 2023, it was reported that a man used a mobile phone to record a video of a woman under her skirt without her consent.

Following enquiries, Charles Critchley, 71, of Turnberry, Skelmersdale, was arrested and subsequently charged with recording an image under clothing to observe another without consent.

He is due to appear at Sefton Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 14 February.
