Early morning call out for Southport Lifeboat

Our pagers sounded early this morning to a despondent female near the waterline on Southport Beach.

Our quads quickly departed the boathouse and proceeded to the scene while our Arctic 24 lifeboat made way to the launch site.

Information was soon received that the female had been located by the police, so our units stood down and returned to station.
