Major incident on Southport beach as emergency services called after car overturns

The emergency services were called to Southport's main beach this afternoon after a vehicle overturned.

Luckily nobody on the beach was hit by the vehicle. Paramedics treated the badly shook up occupants on the sea wall.

People at the beach said that the car was being driven in a anti social manner and toppled over.

The beach was closed for parking as the emergency services dealt with the incident.
