Marine Drive in Southport now open again for three days
Good news for frustrated motorists the Marine Drive in Southport has been reopened this morning.
Council Statement.
Scaffolding will be temporarily removed and the site will be safely secured on Friday, September 24th to allow for Marine Drive to accommodate considerably increased traffic volumes for the British Musical Fireworks Championship. Work will resume on Monday, September 27th.
The spokesperson added that contractors are hopeful all works will be completed on schedule and Marine Drive will be reopened to traffic on October 1st.
