Marine Drive in Southport remains closed
The Marine Drive in Southport remains closed this morning after a lorry crashed into the Pier in early September. The works to repair the damage were supposed to be finished yesterday so the road could reopen today.
At 10.00 am today the road was still closed and there were no contractors on site.
A spokesperson for the Council said last week...
Contractors are hopeful all works will be completed on schedule and Marine Drive will be reopened to traffic on October 1st.
The Council has been approached for further comment.
