Serious accident on Lord Street Southport

The emergency services were called to Lord Street early this afternoon (4th October) after a car and a motorbike collided opposite Sainsburys .

The rider of the motorbike was stretchered into a waiting ambulance. His condition is not known. No injuries were suffered by the driver of the car.

Traffic is being diverted around the scene as investigations are carried out by the police.
