RTC Tarleton Bypass Near Southport. Cyclist taken to hospital

The emergency services including the North West Air Ambulance were called at 11.59 this morning (13th February) to the junction of Sugar Stubbs Lane and the Southport New Road Tarleton Bypass.

A male cyclist suffered a medical incident and has been taken by road to Southport Hospital.He is seriously ill according to the police press office statement.

Traffic is flowing freely past the incident and police remain on the scene conducting an investigation.
