Scarisbrick Avenue incident. 19 year old Birkdale man arrested

Update after Sundays incident 

Merseyside Police were called to Scarisbrick Avenue in Southport at around 1.50am on Sunday, October 27.following a report of a fight in which a man in his 20s had been assaulted and suffered a head injury.  Merseyside Police have confirmed he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Merseyside Police said following enquiries, a 19-year-old man from Birkdale was arrested on suspicion of s18 grievous bodily harm with intent. The man has been bailed pending further enquiries.
