Southport Lifeboat attends Blundellsands Sailing Club Lifeboat open day
On Sunday, our volunteer crew had the pleasure of attending the Blundellsands Sailing Club Lifeboat day, a yearly Southport Independent Lifeboat and RNLI fundraiser which was held for the first time since 2019.
Our crew took the Arctic 24 lifeboat to the River Alt, where she was moored alongside RNLI New Brighton Lifeboat and RNLI Hoylake Hovercraft. After attending the open day, we left the Alt and carried out an exercise in the River Mersey alongside our friends at RNLI New Brighton.
