Southport Neighbourhood Police Bust Local Burglar, Recover Stolen Goods

A burglary took place to an outdoor clothing store on Lord Street in Southport in the early hours of this morning (Friday13th Sept.)


Southport Neighbourhood Police Officers have arrested a local man on suspicion of the burglary and have recovered property from the store. The man is in custody at this time.


An update will follow as/when a charging decision is made.


Elsewhere Neighbourhood Police Community Support Officers are out conducting house-to-house and CCTV enquiries regarding an attempted shed burglary and the theft of a motorcycle, stolen overnight between Wedenesday and Thursday this week. The motorcycle has been recovered
