Southport Rescue take part in a three day Maritime Casualty Care Course

Our volunteer crew have had a busy weekend on a three day Maritime Casualty Care course provided by Saviour Medical Ltd.

The check card based course allows our crew to provide pre-hospital emergency care to casualties. Using techniques and equipment similar to our local ambulance Trusts, our crew are at the forefront of maritime casualty care in the UK. 

In addition, Saviour Medical also provided a one day Immediate Emergency Care course to some of our Shore based crew and shop volunteers.

Our thanks go out to Southport Flower Show for once again providing a venue for the course.
